3 Podshavers Restaurant at Bishops Lydeard is a wonderful choice for a festive night out, open on Sundays to Mondays only and booking essential. 4 The Candlelight Inn at Bishopswood. This is a Multi-award winning, 2 AA Rosette 17th Century Country Pub set in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Candlelight was ranked in the top 10 best pubs in Somerset, by The Guardian. The talented team proudly serve locally sourced, seasonal food including produce grown in the Candlelight garden. 5 Wild Rocket in Bridgwater. This fabulous restaurant and cocktail bar has plenty to offer. In the heart of Bridgwater, it boasts a festive lunch menu and a festive evening menu too. Lunch is a three course offering of mouth watering delights, 2 courses for £25 and 3 courses for £30, with plenty of gluten free or vegetarian/vegan options across the menus. The evening menu is another treat for the tastebuds with lots of choices, with 2 courses at £29 and 3 courses at £35. This menu has some really enticing options, you are spoilt for choice.
