The long awaited Liverpool Legends evening at Taunton Town Football Club proved a great success this week. Former Liverpool stars David Johnson and John Aldridge were in fine form when they entertained a large audience at Taunton Town FC on Tuesday evening (19 March).
The Liverpool Legends event, kindly sponsored by Carlsberg (UK) Ltd, proved a resounding success, with the two Anfield greats recounting a variety of footballing experiences from their distinguished playing careers before hosting a question and answer session.
With the club house now functioning well, this will hopefully be the first of many more events to be hosted by the club in the near future
