The Campaign for Wool’s annual Wool Week has an extended programme of events, exhibitions and interactive consumer moments with an exciting line-up of activities and initiatives designed to educate, inspire and promote the benefits of wool. It will run from the 28th September– 6th October.
The Campaign for Wool is a global endeavour initiated by its patron, H R H The Prince of Wales, in order to raise awareness among st consumers about the unique, natural, renewable and biodegradable benefits offered by wool.
Encouraging collaboration between an international community of wool growers, major fashion designers, retailers, manufacturers, artisans and interior designers, the Campaign has been instrumental in educating consumers about the versatility of wool and reconnecting them with its many uses; from luxurious fine merino knitwear and cloth to beautiful hard wearing interior products to fire-retardant insulation for the home.
Point of sales messaging in shops will be used in shops urging customers to ‘Make a difference’ by choosing wool over man made fibres and join the global fight against plastics entering the worldwide food chain that in turn includes us.
