The League of Friends is a registered charity that provides equipment and facilities for the hospital and patients not available on the NHS.
It’s aim is to relieve patients and former patients of the Chard and District Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the said hospital.
The committee, through their fund raising, provide the hospital with valuable resources and equipment.
The committee meet the last Thursday bimonthly in the hospital. New members and volunteers for their fund raising are always welcome. The committee, through their fund raising, provide the hospital with valuable resources and equipment.
