Two full round trips from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard (20 miles) hauling empty coaches. Participants are required to have taken part in a bronze stage course before being permitted onto the gold course. This is so you have all the necessary knowledge required for you to enjoy your day.
Starting at 7.00 at Minehead you will take part in prepping the engine and have one trip on the footplate and the other travelling in the train. 4 participants are taken on the 20 miles each way for two round trips on the line.
The cost of the course also includes lunch and refreshments.
You must be 18 years+ to take part in the Steam Engineman Courses.
