Join glass artist Kate Doig from Firewolf Glass for a copper foiling workshop. You will make make 2-3 colourful light catchers including some birds, flowers and hearts.

You will learn how to cut glass safely, how to use a glass grinder, how to apply copper foil and how to solder it all together. There will be templates for you to use or you can design your own light catchers. This will be a fun-filled day so why not come with a friend?

  • This course is ideal for beginners as well as those who have some experience
  • This workshop is suitable for adults only due to the use of glass cutting equipment and soldering irons.  Please also note due to the glass cutting element it may not be suitable for anyone with weak wrists or hands
  • Please bring an apron and wear closed in shoes
  • The Grain store cafe will be open, serving delicious locally-sourced food and drink, or bring your own packed lunch.
