As part of Somerset Art Weeks’ family-friendly weekends weaver Jade Ogden, of the Handloom Room, will be offering visitors the opportunity to weave your very own coaster on a hand-loom using colourful British wool.
Jade Ogden is a handweaver based on Mendip. She has a BA in Creative Arts from Bath Spa University and an MA in Community and Participatory Arts from Goldsmiths University. Jade studied handweaving at the Handweaver’s Studio in London and has been developing her practice over the last decade.
