Join artist Luan MacDonald to create a needlefelt artwork inspired by Somerset’s endangered species.

Needlefelt is a craft that uses wool, a felting mat and a special type of sharp needle to create images and designs. In this session you will be inspired to create an artwork in needlefelt responding to endangered species that live alongside Somerset rivers, including damselflies and European eels.

Suitable for adults and accompanied children.

These booked workshops at the Museum are part of  Taunton Together , an end of summer celebration, taking place on Saturday, 28 September 2024. This event will be Taunton Town Council’s first ever festival, a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and creativity in the heart of Taunton town centre.

In partnership with Somerset Art Works as part of the ‘ Spinning a Yarn ’ project.
