VE Day in 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
On Thursday 8 May people across the country will be raising the VE Day flag and lighting beacons and Lamp Lights of Peace.
On bank-holiday Monday 5 May there is a chance to drop into the Museum to make your own flag and tea light holder ready for the 8th.
The exhibition, ‘Strength and Resilience,’ explores the lives of four remarkable women and the part they played during the conflict and subsequent peace process.
