Join artist and printmaker Joanna Briar and learn how to safely use basic woodcut carving tools.
In this creative workshop, you will learn how to carve into plywood to create your own printing block, apply black ink using a roller and hand print your design using a wooden spoon or baren onto printmaking paper.
You will make a series of up to 6 prints on A5 paper which can then be hand coloured using watercolour paint once the ink has dried at home.
