In September 2023, Cornfields Dancing said about Museum of Somerset
A very good museum with fascinating exhibits from the earliest human settlements in Somerset. A magnificent Roman mosaic found in the county is essential viewing. The museum's cafe has a good selection of beverages and lite bites. Good access for the disabled and ample car parking in Taunton town centre. Admission to the museum is free, but donations welcome.

This shop has a wonderful selection of quality sofas, chairs, beds, carpets & curtains etc. The staff are so very helpful and know what they are talking about, which makes a change. Many years ago, when you went into a shop the staff were polite and courteous, they still are in Calverts. It's a delight shopping there
