Very interesting. Well worth a visit or three. You will have to go more than once as you won't be able to see it all in one go.

Located within a 12th century historic castle this museum is filled with information on Somerset's story from prehistoric times to the present day. You could wander here for hours and learn so much! Definitely a 5 star experience!

This was a perfect way to enjoy an hour with 2 little ones. They found a lot of interest throughout the museum, as it clearly has put a lot of thought into catering for all ages. Took the pram and was able to access almost all of it.

An excellent museum showcasing the highlights of the south-west county of Somerset. The interpretive exhibits bring to life it's remarkable and diverse heritage, as well as its current day make-up, geography and industry.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. There is an attractive cafe and a well stocked shop. There is no charge for admission.
