Interesting place. The museum is small. But the exhibition is quite interesting. You can also take a walk around the castle itself. There is a very pleasant antique atmosphere inside. The entrance is free.

Excellent collection of items giving a taste of Somerset from prehistoric times until the modern day. Huge amount to see,so give yourself time. We started from fossils and early man, spent a while with the stunning Roman mosaic and numerous items and the drifted through the Middle Ages (some great carving) but ran out of time after the Tudors and had to stop with Cromwell and The Civil War. We will return.nice xafe. Super, friendly staff and it's located in a castle. Brilliant.
