Penny Hustwick, director of ABC Day Nursery, which also operates sites in Hadley, Lightmoor and Preston on the Weald Moors – all of which have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted inspectors – said it was a major milestone in the nursery’s history.
She said: “I still remember the first day at Hollinswood and whilst the nursery has grown and expanded over the years our ethos has remained the same and that is to provide a welcoming and nurturing place for children to come.
“The success of the nursery is all down to our wonderful staff.
“Kim, one of our managers at Hollinswood, has been there for the last eight years.
“She started out as a nursery assistant so has grown with the nursery. She loves her job and is passionate about caring and educating children.
“Kim and the other staff work closely with parents to make sure we create a thriving environment for children.
“I’m so fortunate to have such a wonderful and dedicated team.”
ABC Hollinswood has supported hundreds of parents in their return to work over the last decade by providing high quality childcare.
Mrs Hustwick said: “Returning to work after having children for many parents can be a stressful and worrying time.
“We try at all our nurseries to ease that pressure by providing a happy, fun environment for children to play and learn.
“We do our best to involve parents in their child’s nursery experience and we would like to thank all parents for their support over the last 10 years.”
