Children at a Telford nursery have been helping a top visitor attraction get ready for halloween by helping to carve out spooky pumpkins.
Youngsters at ABC @ Hoo at Preston On The Weald Moors paid a special visit this week to the Halloween Barn at neighbouring children’s attraction - Hoo Farm - where they helped carve giant pumpkins.
Penny Hustwick, owner of ABC Day Nursery, said: “The children have had such fun this week getting ready for halloween making pumpkin soup, decorating halloween biscuits and decorating the nursery but the highlight was when they were invited by Hoo Farm to visit the Halloween Barn and help carve pumpkins ready for their halloween celebrations this weekend.
“The children had such a wonderful time and we hope all of Hoo Farm’s visitors over the next few days will enjoy looking at the spooky pumpkins.
“Halloween is something we look forward to each year at all four of our nursery sites.
“Tomorrow I’m sure all the children will all look fantastic in their halloween costumes.
“No doubt we will have lots of little witches, vampires, ghosts and spiders making their way into nursery. Even the staff are looking forward to dressing up.”
