Our reply is always, YES of course! Hayley graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2005 (nearly 11 years ago!) and has held registration with the General Chiropractic Clinic ever since, undertaking regular continual professional development as well as keeping insurances up to date.
The main question people have is when they see our price! At Back to Health, as well as our clinics in Eccleshall and Market Drayton, we offer what we believe to be a sensible price for our treatment, affordable for all.
We allow a thorough 1 hour + for initial consultation including first treatment, in total £55. Follow-up appointments are half hour and £30. We often put late availability appointments up for grabs on our facebook page.
We are aware that other Chiropractors and Osteopaths in the area are charging nearer £100 for initial appointment and £50 for follow-up appointments. Whether you pay £30 or £50 for treatment, your Chiropractor will be registered and insured, all with similar training, and all will offer what they believe to be the most appropriate treatment for you. You can be assured that whoever you chose to see, you will be in good hands.
Why do we allow 30 minutes for appointments? It's simple enough. Having worked for somewhere else for over 2 years when graduating, I knew that the 10-15 minute approach was not for me. It didn't allow the time for me to treat patients in the way which I believe they respond best. I also like the more relaxed approach of not needing to clock watch, and to have a good therapeutic natter with my patients!
So why do we charge £30 per half hour appointment? It's quite simple really. As we rent a treatment room within the lovely Anytime Fitness gym, we have extremely minimal overheads. We do not have a team of reception staff, nor contracted cleaners to pay for. We do not have to pay for the up keep nor refurbisment of a large clinic. As such, all these savings can be forwarded on to you, our lovely supportive patients.
