All Hallows Eve saw Lanyon Bowdler’s staff getting into the spirit of the day in an effort to raise money for charity.  All six of Lanyon Bowdler’s offices took part in the festivities.  Members of the public attending the Shrewsbury office would have been greeted with the sight of bats and cauldrons adorning the reception desk and reception staff in wigs and witches hats.  The more adventurous members of staff donned full Halloween fancy dress with others joining in with a black and orange theme.

Every member of staff made a monetary contribution on their arrival at work.  Various other events took place throughout the day with the firm’s budding bakers working hard to produce an array of wonderful cakes.  Raffles were held throughout the offices and in addition the Shrewsbury office held a ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ competition.  Without fail all staff joined in with the activities remembering the worthy causes that were to benefit from the proceeds of the day.

Throughout the year Lanyon Bowdler hold various events for staff in an effort to raise funds in support of local charities.  This year Lanyon Bowdler are supporting three local charities, Severndale Specialist School in Monkmoor, Club 2000 Sport & Leisure for the Disabled in Telford and Friends of the Victoria Centre in Oswestry.

In total Lanyon Bowdler’s staff raised £545.13 through their efforts on the day.  Chairman of the Charities Committee, Senior Partner Peter Flint congratulated staff on the excellent result.  The money will now be distributed to the chosen charities.
