Oak Hill School is a Church of England voluntary controlled primary school for pupils from 4-11 years.\rThe school was formed from the amalgamation of Alderton and Dumbleton primary schools in 1981. This has enabled both villages to retain their school - a vital ingredient of village life. \rThe infant children, aged 4-7, attend the Infant Base at Dumbleton, where there are two classes. \rChildren aged 7-11 attend the Junior Base at Alderton,where there are two classes.
