Cotswold golf courses

I know that there are a myriad of golf courses dotted around the Cotswolds, and far too many to even consider listing here. But I would be very interested to hear people's views on their favourite courses, recommendations, hints and tips... And more importantly, why?

There are some really wonderful courses out there, and I've played quite a few of them...but in the grand scheme of things I've barely scratched the surface. If you are a cotswold golfer (or even if you are from far away but have played on a cotswold course) then I'd love to hear your views and/or start a discussion about the pros (excuse the pun!) and cons of the wealth of golfing choice available around our fabulous cotswold scenery. The idea being to pique my own interest in where to try to play next, but also everyone else's too - I'm sure there are thousands of golfers (and travelling golfers) out there who'd love to know why they should go and play a particular course.
