indigenous has launched its new range of Riverstone accessories.
Handcrafted from volcanic rock, the range spans from small pots and soap dishes to plates, platters and flower pots. All items have a distinct rugged exterior finish and polished inner surface. They provide both practical and stunning additions to the kitchen and bathroom, especially when used alongside indigenous’ Riverstone baths and basins.
All Riverstone accessories are made from metamorphosised stone thrown from deep in the earth’s crust; basalt boulders originating from the active Marapi volcano, in Central Java, are washed down the river during the rainy season, by torrents of water, before becoming lodged down-stream. They are then selected, according to size, and crafted by hand.
The full Riverstone accessories range includes pots with lids, soap dishes, pestle and mortar, plates, serving bowls and platters, fruit bowls, candlestick holders, centrepiece candelabras and flower pots.
