World Snow Day is an international event that seeks to motivate children aged 4 to 14 years to enjoy all things snow.
Taking place on Sunday 17th January, World Snow Day is the biggest day on snow of the year and will be held every year for years to come to encourage families to get out on the slopes with the kids and enjoy some snow related activities.
The mountain resorts of Scotland are naturally taking part and here’s what’s taking place in The Highlands:
Nevis Range – go along and enjoy some sledging, ski lessons for beginners, husky dog sled team and take part in a competition to build a snowman, snowwoman or snow sculpture.
Glencoe Resort – here you can enjoy zibob racing, snowtrac rides, igloo building and a snowman building competition.
