Local charity Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation(CHF) have launched their 2013 fundraising campaign to equip all of the 34 primary schools on the island with lifesaving defibrillators.

The Co-operative unveiled Carers Trust as its Charity of the Year, 2013 today (18 January). The charity was formed in April 2013 when The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and Crossroads Care came together.
Three local businesses, all members of thebestof The Isle of Man (which promotes recommended local island businesses) joined forces with thebestof The Isle of Man team at The Southern and The Royal Manx Agricultural Show to raise money for local charities The Special Care Baby Unit SCBU, The Peel and District Support Group , The Hospice , The Manx Workshop for the Physically Disabled.

Mosaic, a Christian women's group, have raised £6,937.65 to support the work of local charity Crossroads Care.
Mosaic pledged to raise Crossroads funds at the group's annual conference in September 2011 and met their target through sponsored walks, coffee mornings and individual donations.
