Headteacher Riss Forrester has started the club to provide an extra service to busy parents who want to ensure their children have the best start possible to their day. She was also inspired to start it after attending a conference in May at the Mount Murray Hotel at which Dr Margot Sunderland - Director of Education and Training Centre for Child Mental Health, London, and author of What Every Parent Should Know - told education and health care professionals that research showed that a protein-rich breakfast enabled children to engage more effectively with learning.
