UK’s top fund manager talking in Douglas on May 10th
Tom Winnifrith’s track record over the past three years makes him officially the UK’s best performing fund manager. He works with his team at t1ps Investment Management in Douglas managing funds investing in UK Small caps, gold stocks, income stocks and an Indian fund is planned for this summer.
Tom is also chairman of JPJShare.com, the UK’s lowest cost execution only stockbroker which is also based in Douglas.
Both businesses are owned by Rivington Street Holdings, a firm set up in Tom’s bedroom 11 years ago which now employs 150 people in London, Surrey, New York but has its head office in the Isle of Man. The chairman of Rivington is Island investment legend Jim Mellon.
Tom Winnifrith will be giving a talk on 10th May at the Palace Hotel on “how to make money in the next 12 months.” An entertaining speaker, he will cover his views on why the dollar will continue to slide, gold will continue to rise, why UK blue chips are a bad bet, banking stocks a dreadful bet and how not to lose money on Asia and to make it from UK equities.
The talk starts at 6 PM and there is a free glass of wine available from 5.30 PM and after the talk when Tom will take questions.
