Marianne McCourt moves premises
Marianne explained the reasons for moving on: “I have been leasing space from Keigs for the last year and it brought me a huge range of work. I have made the decision however to move forwards and develop my Boutique photography business, specialising in exemplary customer care and quality of work. I will also be able to pursue far more private work and commissions. I hope to turn some of this work into future exhibitions.
Regarding her portrait, commercial and wedding photography services, Marianne commented: “I will still be providing these services from my own premises with fully equipped studio and all the files from last year can still be ordered online. Meeting new people and capturing the best in them is a real passion of mine, so I would never stop doing this sort of work. However, my plan is to reduce the volume of work I do in these areas in order to concentrate on higher service levels and excellence. I am something of a perfectionist and by focussing on fewer jobs I can spend more time on planning and post-production so as to achieve the highest quality possible on every shoot. When requested I print by hand using archival quality materials, ensuring that I can control everything from start to finish, rather than handing the photographs to a lab.”
She continued: “Whether they want team profile shots for their company, a family portrait or memories of their special day, I think that this sort of quality and attention to details makes a real difference to people.”
Marianne is a highly qualified photographer and is a Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers as well as an Associate of the The Royal Photographic Society. She also holds two bachelor’s honour degrees and is well known on the Island for the high quality of her personal photography.
