St John Ambulance believes that every young person should have the chance to learn basic life saving skills. Working with young people aged from five to 25, the organisation aims to provide a fun and safe environment to learn essential first aid. The Young Achievers’ Reception offers St John
Ambulance the opportunity to reward the excellent work of their younger volunteers.
Wendy Human, Head of Youth at St John Ambulance, said: 'The reception is a great way for us to recognise the commitment and outstanding work of these young people. They have all proven themselves as outstanding individuals and we hope that they are pleased with the opportunity to meet Her Royal Highness and enjoy the surroundings of Buckingham Palace for the day.’
‘Jessica and George have been assets to their local community all year round and they fully deserved to be rewarded with an invitation to the Palace.’
