It's the most wonderful time of the year and as usual, there is so much going on in The New Forest ... here's a list of some of the events happening in December!!!

Go and see some of the best-loved elements of Longdown Activity Farm, all under one festive roof, in the Longdown Farm Christmas Barn; an 'animal magical' Christmas experience for children. Meet the farm animals and see the beautiful nativity scene and visit Santa in his Grotto.

Father Christmas Rescue at Queens Head Pub followed by Bazaar

Join our guides for a 90 minute paddle exploring the river and help them to find Father Christmas.

Fun 3k run, walk, hop - whatever you want!, Free Santa outfits, Free goody bags for children, Free water bottles for everyone at the end. Start and finish Lymington High Street.

Christmas Concert with the Jubilee Singers - free raffle and refreshments - all welcome

Christmas Tree Festival at St John the Baptist - FREE event but donations to charity.

Enjoy seasonal food, fun, crafts and activities as part of Lyndhurst Christmas Fun Day activities.

This year Father Christmas told us he wants to try out our new ropes course, so he’ll be waiting there for all you lot that fancy giving it a try!

Two and a half mile walk around Bolderwood followed by a glass of mulled wine.

A great opportunity to purchase some gifts, crafts and collectibles.
Saturday 20th December
A place of enchantment at this special time of year. Children can dress up in period costumes, there will be carol singing around the grand piano for everyone to enjoy.

The award winning Highcliffe Junior Choir return to Beaulieu with a programme of Christmas music and readings. Mulled wine and a mince pie are included in the ticket price. This is a popular concert and was a sell out in 2013 so book your ticket early.Price: £10

Monday 22nd December, 10:30am until 2:30pm
Come to the museum and have the opportunity to meet our Victorian Father Christmas and have a vintage photo taken with him. There will also be a Victorian Christmas tree decoration workshop.
