Following a £175,000, seven week refurbishment including redecoration and the installation of self service kiosks, Lymington Library will now stay open longer each week, opening at 9am instead of 9.30am from Monday to Saturday. It will also stay open all day on a Wednesday, closing at 5pm.
The self service kiosks have been installed to help free up staff to work more flexibly and give them more time to deal with customer enquiries.
Lymington library is a part of the Hampshire library service and is very much a community hub, providing resources for local residents and a place to read, socialise and much more with its regular programme of events such as Rhyme Time for the under 4s, Knit and Natter and talks on a range of subjects.
