I started kick boxing 2 years ago i was mega scared at first but when I kept hitting the bobs i was fine kick boxing help me to calm down and make me happy when i am sad people would say to me that i can be a fighter but I never did spa at tall now i am doing it it help me with my confidence and it has grew me to the person i am to be today if I stoped going it just lead me in tears to say good bye to torfaen dragons and I'm proud to be one

I must say that mr gary Davey and his torfaen dragons offer an outstanding service to both young and old a way of learning martial arts , life skills and a way to keep fit .. his professional and easy to get along with attitude Is both refreshing and comforting to know as a parent whilst my child is his in class . thank you

Where to start...I was really worried about taking my son 2 a kick boxing club as he can b quite challenging but as soon as we met Gary my worries went, he was so welcoming & understanding, he has patience of a saint. Always there when ever u need him. He was very good with my son building his confidence & self esteem!! He makes sure everyone is happy at class. Gary has a fab bond with all the children, they all love him he makes sure every child reaches their full potential. I'm very glad to be apart of this club, it's like 1 big family. I highly recommend this club to any parent, you will not find one better. #teamdavey#dragons4life

Torfaen Dragons are like my family! The best team about! They treat you like the best and support you to the limit! My sister fights for torfaen Dragons and I've taken classes too! Torfaen dragons is more than a team it's like a family head coach Gary is dedicated and believes in all his students of all ages. Within 2 years he helped take me from complete novice to the world championships with team Wales! A fun and safe environment for children and adults of all ages to learn.

My daughter has been training with the Torfaen Dragons since February & she loves it. Her confidence has grown & continues to soar. In less than 3 months, thanks to the patience & dedication of Team Davey, she had taken part in her first 2 competitions & is looking forward to doing more. I can't recommend Torfaen Dragons any higher. They are the best kickboxing squad, very friendly. We really are just one big family.

A few weekd ago my son wanted to join Torfaen dragon, but due t heart surgeries he is unable to do the actual contact sport, now an othe place would definitely say no due t hesrt Gary and family are still working with my son h has already gained so much confidence because Gary not turning away because of his heart triston absolutely lovrs i best i Torfaen!

I have been taking my son 2 Torfaen Dragons for about a year now & his confidence grows every week. Gary & his family amazing very patient & informative, it's not like a instructor & class it's like a big get together where the kids & adults learn a fab art sport, keep fit & most important have fun. I would totally recommend Torfaen Dragons to any parent I fact I already have. Go Dragons!!

I myself have been taking the kids to torfaen dragons kick boxing I have only been going for a couple of weeks and the instructor and team are amazing would recommend to any perents that would like to keep the kids off the streets and learn the great skills we have a great team coming together and no 1 gets treated any different they treat everyone like 1 big family

Gary has been teaching my daughter and grandson kickboxing for the last 3 months , my daughters confidence is so much better since being with torfaen dragons, Gary and his family has made a big difference to my daughters life . I would recommend torfaen dragons to all my family and friends . My daughter feels safe and happy and confident since joining torfaen dragons.

Torfaen Dragons Kickboxing squad are taught self-respect and more important, respect for others as well as the martial art of kickboxing. Gary encourages all ages from 4 to 64 to get involve and take part. I have worked with the squad providing event massage and therapeutic massage when there are damaged muscles It is great fun working with the squad and watching them train at Pontnewynydd Social Club
