Against The Grain are a specialist carpentry and joinery team, supplying high quality fitted bedroom furniture from our base in Wakefield. Located close to the centre of Wakefield we are ideally placed for you to call in and see the bedroom ranges we have available.

You work with our bedroom designer to create the bedroom furniture and layout you require. We can take your ideas and create them on paper, to view, or we can suggest the best layouts to maximise the space available.
Once you've agreed the design and layout of your new fitted bedroom, we go to work creating the furniture in our factory. Our skilled cabinet makers will ensure the quality of your bespoke bedroom is second to none.
We then arrange delivery and installation of the bedroom furniture at your convenience. Our teams are highly skilled, not only at the installation of your furniture but also taking the same levels of care in your property that you'd expect from a quality bedroom design and installation company.
Our team of fitters are highly experienced in their field, being CITB and apprentice trained craftsmen. This ensures the quality of the work we do will be second to none.
We use our experienced team of tradesmen including Part P registered electricians, CORGI registered gas fitters, plasterers and builders to support our carpentry and joinery team to ensure we can complete your project with the minimum of inconvenience.
