Birkwood Plant Training are a specialist training and development team based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We provide a range of specialised training courses tailored to the construction industry, either at our site in Wakefield or delivered on site.

Our trainng and development division has been born from our many years experience in the construction industry, giving our team the perfect insight into the requirements of the industry.

We have developed a NVQ centre with purpose built classroom facilities and training ground to ensure you gain the level of competence required to safely operate your chosen piece or pieces of machinery. We offer training and development courses aimed at all levels of experience from the novice through to experienced operators.

Our plant training courses are:

CPCS

Upon successful completion of this training course you'll be issued with your CPCS red card, intermediate certificate and log book - this is now the only card accepted on major building sites.

Courses last between 1 and 10 days depending upon experience.

LANTRA AWARDS

This course is ideal for non-major construction sites, upon successful completion a Lantra certificate and Card is issued. Training is between 1 and 5 days depending upon experience.

IN HOUSE ACCREDITED 

Plant training and development that's ideal for small business's wishing to ensure their employees are able to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
