Crisis Point is situated in Walsall in the West Midlands. The charity was founded in 2000 and run on - at that time - an entirely voluntary basis; Crisis Point became a registered charity and company in 2004.
Crisis Point, was set up to provide a real response to the high prevalence of sexual crimes - rape, sexual assault and child sexual abuse and the evidence of its harmful effects on the physical, psychological and emotional health of victims and their families.
We identify and provide effective specialist interventions for all victims/ survivors of sexual crimes (and families or supporters of), suffering the trauma of sexual violence and abuse, through the provision of short and long term therapeutic counselling, practical help and support.
