Called on Friday a week before my appointment the following Saturdat and booked in for what I believed was a hair colour and cut. Was told to go in for a skin test before the appointment so went in the same day and I was told a strand test would be done on the day of my appointment before my cut. Arrived for my appointment and was told that I wasn't booked in for a colour the lady who booked the appointment then denied all knowledge of booking me in for a colour and continued to make out I was lying, despite me calling her out as why you ask someone to come in for a skin test if they weren't expecting a colour. Poor service didn't even bother staying for the haircut. If you don't want to be disappointed then I would avoid.

Thank you for your recent review for Chatabox Hair and Beauty on The Best of Walsall. It is part of our normal procedure to investigate any negative reviews. I have now had the opportunity to speak with the owner about your feedback. She was disappointed to note your comments and sorry to hear that this confusion has happened as they pride themselves on offering good customer service and don't like to hear anyone is unhappy. The owner said she had discussed with you that a skin test and a strand test could not take place on the same day as a colour and these needed to be done at least 24 hours before. She said you had been in on the Friday for a skin test, then had planned to visit the next day, Saturday, for a cut when the strand test and colour consultation could take place. The plan was then to book your colour in when you came for the cut and strand test on the Saturday. From your comments I can see you thought the colour was also booked for the Saturday the same time as the cut. Unfortunately it appears in this case there was a misunderstanding. I would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention as we do monitor all reviews both good and bad to ensure our businesses deliver a high standard of service. Thanks again.
