We have used the services of this DJ for family functions. The most recent is my sister’s wedding.
Other DJs had been inflexible but this service was a very accommodating this in terms of the start time and finish times and Genres of the music we requested for the event. He was engaging and got the wedding party on the feet dancing for all of the night. He also did a special slot where he personally congratulate the bride and groom. He added to the fun of the event. He also took a picture of the bride and groom and gave it to them in a simple Frame as a personal token which they still have on the fireplace. He is well presented, organised, considerate and professional I strongly recommend this DJ.

I hired Dave Valentine for my book launch December 2018, he’s attention to my requirements were met with complete professionalism and timing. He even added items to dress the venue I hadn’t requested and that was a very nice personal touch.

It is an honour to give you my review for our Christmas fayre event on the 30th November 2019, held at St John's and St. Peter's Church Darnley Road Ladywood Birmingham B16 8TF.
The children, adult and all vendors who had attended on the day had nothing but praise for the way in which you entertained the ground, our pastor was delighted with you and at some stage would like to be able to engage you for further events which will be taking place this year 2020 for 20th anniversary of St Peter's church merging with St John's. So with this in mind I just want to say a very big thank you for your performance professionals good temperament dealing with challenges and for keeping everyone entertained with your variety of music for all age groups including those who like to listened, the group I work with are vulnerable people but on the day, I see the difference that your music brings out in them they had a fantastic time. I thank you again and hope to work with you again in the future.

If your looking for a brilliant DJ then DJ Valentine is the best! We were able to put our playlist together before the night which made the evening bespoke. With Richard's experience he is able to mix the selections up to keep the tempo moving throughout the night. I've used DJ Valentine previous and he was equally as good. Although based in Walsall he is willing to travel. He turned up 3 hours before the start as it was a wedding function. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for a birthday, engagement, wedding. If you are looking for a wedding he has additional equipment such as a glitter ball. Please look at his website and give him a call, it will be the best thing you could do. Just to mention he has thousands of tracks and is up to date with the music scene.

I have known DJ Dave Valentine for a very long while over which time we have worked together in a variety of settings. Being an Event Organiser it is imperative that I work with the right service providers to ensure my clientele receive a first class service..
I can honestly say that DJ Dave has performed to an excellent standard at every event he has been assigned to; including weddings, christenings, funerals, birthday celebrations and charity fundraiser events. On follow up our clients have always been happy, giving good feedback and often making repeat bookings and/or recommendations.
DJ Dave is 100% professional in his demeanour, attendance, punctuality, equipment, setup, health & safety requirements and customer service skills. I think the things that make DJ Dave desirable and an all round favourite of our clients is his friendly personality, professionalism, experience and the amount of choice he is able to offer. From his extensive music selection, to his variety of light settings, flooring and writing on the dance floor & walls etc, Dave offers it all. My Husband and I utilised the services of Dave Valentine on the 8th July at our 20th Anniversary celebrations 2012. We had around 300 guests. Dave made the evening very special. He was on time - if not efficiently early - he set up professionally without any fuss and took heed of the type of music we knew our guests would enjoy.
His set up was efficient and tailored to the venue location, size and acoustics. It was very polished - Dave has good knowledge of a range of music and added a special flair to the day which made it very worthwhile employing him for our special occasion.
He played a piece for us to do a special dance which has become one of my favourite and most memorable pieces.
All in all the music selection was exactly as requested and further enhanced by his selection of additional artists. I was impressed that Dave was able to source niche genres of music the delivery of which was perfect Dave Valentine made my party come alive.
I have no hesitation in recommending Dave Valentine for the most demanding of events. His pleasant nature, organisation, efficiency, creativity and a precise pulse on the delivery of music should enhance any event and I will certainly look nowhere else for future DJ support.

Hi Dave Valentine! what can I say "WOW" my husband and I would like to say a big thank for making our wedding day so special, from the start to the finished. We love the way you engaged with us from the start with the information supporting us to prepare for the big day, we were unsure about what music and how it would come together on the day, but with your support and guidance we did not have any need to worry, it was a stress free day. The ICC managers was equally impressed with the professionalism, the Certificate presentation, one told me that they have to chase people for this which can cause a great delay but with you, you were on point with everything.

Business I received was an entrainment set with music,up lighting also with strobe lighting and smoke machine.
Everyone was very impressed with the setup and we will be booking this service again for my next Pole and Aerial showcase.

Our beloved mother passed away in December 2013.
Having made most of the necessary arrangements, it was a comfort to know that Dave Valentine a close friend of mine was prepared to provide the entertainment after the funeral proceedings had taken place. After discussions with Dave and recommendations made by him, he set up his sound system earlier in the day, even providing a running power point picture display of my mother on his plasma TV. The proceedings at the venue went very smoothly and the Brown family and friends were delighted with Dave's professionalism and attention to detail.
