Hydesville is special in that they typically have classes that are half the size of other schools, meaning that your child gets the individual attention needed for them to thrive. In fact GCSE subjects are often taught to just a handful of students giving them the best chance to excel in their chosen subjects.

Nursery

Hydesville Tower Nursery is a homely, safe and caring environment for every little boy and girl with staff having the utmost concern for each and every child. The Nursery is open for 49 weeks a year, 7.30am – 6pm during term time and 9am – 4pm during school holidays.  pm) and open from 8am – 6pm throughout term time.  Included in the termly fee is a daily hot lunch, a healthy afternoon snack and milk.

Prep School

If you're looking for an exciting, creative and supportive environment for your child, coupled with a sound foundation in core subjects, Hydesville Tower Prep School is the perfect choice for your child.

The Prep School eases your child into the education process and will give them a strong base to build on in their later years. The skills and knowledge learnt at this stage stand them in good stead when they move to their Senior School education.

GCSE results were of an extremely high standard again in 2022 with half of all grades at a grade 7 to 9 (the equivalent of A/A*/A**).

90% of pupils scored Grade 8 or 9 in Religious Studies, and there were high levels of success in Chemistry, French, Maths, and Physics, where the significant majority of pupils secured grade 7 or above. As well as the outstanding quality of scores, the value added measures representing the improvements made since joining the school show that every pupil has gained significantly by being at Hydesville.

There are always many activities taking place around the whole school for pupils and family to get involved in! The school aims not only to enhance pupils’ performance academically but to also provide them with the life skills needed for the big world of work with their wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities!
