Today Training at the Hurstway Nursing home with Steve Survey was very informative and gave us the reassurance and correct way of moving and handling our residents and most of all to care for our back while doing the job.

We had a lovely man named Steve, come into our workplace to do some moving and handling training, he was brilliant, we had fun while we learned! At the end of our session, we were all assessed and we all passed with at least 80% and more confidence in how to move and handle our residents.

The trainer is absolutely amazing and passionate. She trains in a way that is easy for you to understand and you actually enjoy it while learning. She shows the right way of doing things and explains why. You can tell she practices what she preaches.

Manual handling course taught by Lea, it was great to attend this course. I learnt loads and by the end of the day I was confident in an area I was quite apprehensive about. Happy to go home with lots of knowledge. The teaching style was engaging and also very straight forward to learn practical skills. Would definitely recommend!
