Been here for 2nd time now.. was alright first time had mixed grill so cant really mess that up. (Mixed grills r average) been sencond time and food wasnt very good. Mrs had butter chicken which was too sweet to eat. I had chicken tikka masala which looked n tasted like
Non ever had before. Could have done better at home. Its one of them, if u really enjoy asian cusine as do i then your best of going else where id recomend bradford arms pleck or the palfrey one. But if just your average gura (lmao) ull be happy.

Been going to kirans for about 4 years now. The service is always first class, the food is the best you will find in the area and they are value for money!

Would recommend and hope to be eating here for many years to come!!

Popped in as it's local and the reviews seemed good.
Overall the interior is nice, it wasn't busy on the Wednesday night but there were a few people about.
Service was good and the menu has a big selection of dishes to choose from so they can cater for most people.
The food when it arrived was good quality and plentiful. I would have happily just had a main and naan and that would fill me up. Prices were very low as well compared to some in the area.
Will definitely be back again!

Went to Kiran’s on aFirday evening a couple of weeks ago after a trip swimming.
We had to wait a bit for the table although it wasn’t full. I am not sure if they were short in the kitchen because althoguht the service was quite attentive – if a little brusque at times, the main thing was that the food took so long to arrive.
The food itself was good. Not spectacular but two courses of this standard with poppadoms with two sides (one shared) for £13 a head on a Friday night is pretty alright in my book. There are offers available in the off-peak evenings that make even this value seem pricey.
The downside was the wait though. It was best part of two hours before we finished our mains. And by then some of us were ravenous but some were actually past hungry and not really in the mood anymore.

This is the second time we went to this restaurant.I would say the food is pleasant.I have eaten at better places but the prices are very reasonable. The saag and chilli paneer dishes are very tasty.I wasn't very impressed with their tandoori roti or naan as the roti came out quite hard and naan over done and quite blackened. We were compensated for that by management not taking money for it and reducing our bill by a further £6.50.We were happy with the way they dealt with the situation.Their neat dishes are satisfactory. Just as a heads up,they don't have a liquor license ,so don't expect alcoholic drinks with your food. The atmosphere was nice.Staff get really busy when the place is full.Overall it was a pleasant experience but I am not sure if I would visit it again.

Regularly visit this restaurant with the wife and kids and always have a great time.
The £8.95 4 course meal is the best in the area with other not so good competitor's offering a limited choice, and not so comfortable surroundings. Even during midweek there's always other diners there and the food well I am Asian by ethnicity and I find there curry's reassuringly authentic. Best curry house in Darlaston.
Great job boys.

Can't beat kirans, great good, friendly staff at a good price. I'm a fan of all Indian foods, but I haven't found a better place than kirans. Great for a cheeky takeaway or even a cheeky meal out. Would definitely recommend if you are local.

Went in kirans with my girlfriend and was welcomed by Raj who was very friendly
The decor was brilliant and the atmosphere the music was so relaxing Had the 8.95 meal deal which I say is the best value in the world for the portions of food that you get
The starters wer brilliant so fresh and well presented I had the mix grill and my partner had the mix starter very filling The king somosas are just out of this world no other restaurants in the uk can match the king somosas
The masala chips have to be tried because I dnt think any other restaurants do them to such perfection Over all it was excellent and iv already booked for Christmas Day lunch which I think is a bargain price
I reckon this place has to be tried by all people it is worth it

We have been visiting Kirans for about 4years. The staff, service and food are excellent!!!! We've moved out of the area but still travel back as our local curry houses aren't a patch on this excellent restaurant ;)

Hadn't eaten for a long time. Received a call from a friend who said they were in a similar situation so we made a trip to Kiran's.
Often used this place for take aways but never eaten in. Whenever I had though I noticed often large boisterous parties often with kids in tow.
This was no exception. It was fine for us but if you want a romantic evening with a partner then somewhere that would allow for a little more discretion or intimacy may be better.
However the menu is extensive. The service sometimes has to be prompted but the food is decent enough. The portion sizes are great and the price is really low. Oh and I know that for some it's really important but the most recent fitting out didn't make it as far as the bathrooms.
If you fancy an alcoholic drink you have take your own. With a supermarket nearby this is easy enough but if you'd like your stuff chilled then I'd advise taking stuff from the fridge, asking for ice was a repetitive process.
Fine dining it ain't but it has not the pretence to be. And that's just fine by me. I would and will return. As seemingly would the many others visiting.
