Me & two friends went to see a film at the light cinema, we found the staff very helpful & polite. One of my friends is disabled & they took extra care of her. The seats were comfortable & screens clear. Drinks & snacks are available & the usual kind of prices. Parking is just outside & there are restaurants & a pub very close by. Will definitely return.

From booking our seats on line was easy, all we had to do was show the email confirmation/ticket to the attendant no queuing. We purchased hot chocolate and a glass of wine from the Green room which we were able to take into the cinema. Our seats were comfortable with room and great view of a very good film. Must add all areas of the cinema was very clean.

The Light is very new, and is well laid out: there is a good selection of films and very comfortable seating.
The only general disadvantage is the car-park, which is easily filled (it is being expanded) and requires pre-payment -which means you have to guess when you will be leaving!
Specifically there is a disadvantage for those with disability walking; although there is a lift, once you enter the screen you walk along an uphill corridor in darkness, and then face a choice of front row or climbing stairs. As you choose seats when buying tickets in the foyer, it is worth knowing this beforehand!
All of the foyer services are on the level with the outside pavement, so general access is not a problem: there are disabled parking spaces ( not many) and these are at the same charge as for the able-bodied. There is a bus service nearby, which may be a better alternative to driving.

Overall impression was very good, no queue to get tickets ,screen 1 was a decent size and the purple seats were nice and comfy.
Will definitely go there instead of bentley bridge.

Visited here for the 1st time today. Nice little cinema. Seats comfortable. Lots of leg room and a storage tray between seats for drinks.. it's a little cramped in the foyer when getting tickets and only one toilet which resulted in queues. There are more toilets upstairs where the screens are but you aren't allowed up there until the previous film has ended and the theatres are clear.....

This was picked out of a bowl by my partner and I as a thing to do for the evening, just a fun thing we do lol, and we chose The Light Cinema.

We chose to watch Stand By Me which was a classic for me and a throwback to my youth but a new experience for my partner. The cjnema itself is awesome enough but the screening rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious and there's a wide variety of things you can do in the cinema before or after your movie.

There's also a competition on to win a hot air balloon flight for two, so if you like classic films and the chance to win a hot air balloon ride, this is the perfect date night spot for you!

Visited for my first time with my daughter for a night out. The cinema was very clean and spacious. Everything seemed expensive but that's the same at all cinemas. We watched "Girls Trip" which was really funny.

We've been here a few times, it's a great little cinema that offers a lot from entertainment for kids, alcohol for adults and special screenings for any customers with additional needs. It's always clean with welcoming staff and I liked the little extra touches of a welcome before every film (although the last two times I went this didn't happen). The prices are good and if you're early birds it's even cheaper. Definitely would recommend for the whole family.

Comfy seating, lower prices than the competition, refills on popcorn and drinks before the end of your film and a bar to enjoy drinks before and after your film. Love this cinema. Shame there's a charge to park really, that's the only thing stopping me from visiting more regularly.

Brilliant cinema. Always clean and very spacious. Reasonably priced and the staff are extremely friendly. We've signed up to the monthly pass to really get our monies worth. Fabulous value for money. Even get discounts of the food in the cinema and the restaurants on the same complex. Parking on the wharf car park after 6pm is free.

A lovely experience enjoyed by all of us. The staff are very pleasant and obliging. Just one problem, we had trouble parking our cars and then had to pay to do so.

This is a great cinema and has a lot going for it in terms of pricing, free refills on popcorn and non alcoholic beverages. The staff are helpful but the ticketing kiosk being used as the popcorn confectionary standjust bottlenecks things and causes a delay. There is the online option to book and collect.

The only gripe is the car parking fees, but that's the usual rip off process.

My husband and I had a rare night out from the kids and decided to go to the light on recommendation from a work colleague rather than go to our usual cinema.

We were not disappointed, it was so easy to book our tickets using the machines, got our popcorn no problem and made our way to the screen.

It's lovely and modern, clean and there's tons of leg room. The seats are lovely and comfortable and have a table between for you to put your drinks/popcorn etc on.

Love the fact it is licensed too!

My husband and I like to go to the Cinema and when The Light Cinema opened up in Walsall we thought we would give it a go as it would be our closest Cinema.

We found the facilities great with an escalator up to auditoriums and regular stairs back down. I'm not sure if there is a lift for wheelchairs. Also they have a bar for drinks and you can take your drinks into the auditorium and you can order and eat food.
We would recommend The Light Cinema to anyone. There are parking facilities too.

Although recently opened, they have kept on top of the cleanliness of the place. It's good value for money in terms of meal deals and the staff are polite and friendly. Comfy seats too! Only recommendation is that the adjoining restaurant inside should do a takeout hot drinks service!

I visited this cinema as part of my birthday present from my daughter. It's a long time since I have attended a cinema and was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. There are lots of screens at this cinema so a large choice of films to watch.
