This is a great cinema with comfortable seats and reasonably good parking. Wide choice of shows and easy to book on-line. Just hope more people find out about it.

Have visited the light cinema several times and it's the best cinema around here the quality of the screens and seating is so comfortable, the cinema is lienced so you can enjoy a drink thru your film and also they offer free refills if you buy a large drink or popcorn which is very gd value.

I and a friend went recently here to see Beauty and the Beast and what a lovely experience. The cinema is so clean everywhere, the friendliest staff, asking randomly if we were ok. The seating the most comfortable I've ever experienced anywhere in the West Midlands! The welcome speech in person at the beginning of the film a good thought. The popcorn, drinks, tickets etc are priced same as other cinemas but if you're in a delightful clean friendly place you don't mind, can't wait to go again.

2nd visit to this cinema and I love it. Comfy seats, you can take alcoholic drinks in and the welcome/instructions from an actual person gives it a more customer based experience. The surround sound system seems really good. It's been clean and tidy on our visits. Good bar/cafe and plenty of other places to eat. Car park always seems to be full, it's easier to park across the road.

The cinema is great overall. However i would go to the showcase down the road on more occasions as the cinema screen rooms are so dirty. The cleaners need a kick up the ****. Each time i have visited the seats have been filthy and the floors full of food and sticky. To add the ice blasts are just ice theirs hardly any juice so you cant actually drink it you have to eat it or wait for it all to melt which makes it flat

Went to watch beauty and beast, booked online and printed tickets

Cinema was busy so glad we booked, Bit of a queue waiting for popcorn etc, would suggest you leave plenty of time , not many staff serving.
WEnt through easily to cinema showing.

Seat comfy , clean , plenty of room, was pleasantly surprised.

Good value for money , went to 11.00am showing at reduced rate .

As an Infinity member I've visited the Cinema numerous times over the last year - it's definitely the best cinema in the area!!

This was the first visit with kids - fun was had by all.

The seating is super comfy, the snacks and drinks are great and the screens are perfect.

Comfortable seating giving great visibility, VERY helpful staff, some really exciting live 'cultural' programmes.

Plenty of eating places to make up a smashing inexpensive night out.

A bit of good news for Walsall

Really, what's not to like?

Lovely cinema very clean polite and helpful staff. Lovely food and drink. You get your choice of wear you want to sit. Plus there is a pop corn and drink refill offer while the film of your choice is still on

This is the kind of place that Walsall has needed for a long time. Excellent facilities, great location and fairly priced.

Thought we'd give this cinema a go for a change as it's cheaper in the daytime than our other local cinema (£5 a ticket - bargain!)
I have to say, it was a great experience. We literally had screen 8 to ourselves! It was very quiet, although it was a Friday mid- morning ... We literally just walked straight in, grabbed a (very nice) coffee from the bar, and then we were directed to our screen by a helpful attendant. The seats were very comfortable with nice soft arm rests. Picture quality was excellent and not too overloaded with adverts and countless trailers. We will definitely be returning here!
The only thing I would say is the parking is a bit steep, not the cinemas fault really but maybe they could incorporate a discounted parking rate for customers?

This is a fab cinema ...prices are lower than the usual Showcase or odeon.
Have not been in all the screens but the ones I have been in have really big screens,
seats are tiered well so that you don't get anyone blocking your view!
luvly little café downstairs to sit and chill.

plenty of places to eat just steps away and looks so pretty at night with everywhere lit up.

only downside is having to pay extra for parking which I think should be re-emburst if you are using the cinema ...so if you are going after 6 use the shopping car cark across the road which is free after 6.
all in all a luvly cinama

I took my son to see the BFG one afternoon and we had the cinema to ourselves, the only criticism I would give is that the snacks and drinks are a little overpriced and toileting can be a nightmare due to one exit.

I go to this cinema regularly and have never had a bad experience. It is only a small cinema with each room having about 15 rows. They have a self service area making buying tickets much quicker, when this is out of order you can buy tickets at the food counter. They also have a bar that you can use whilst waiting for your film.

On this occasion I went to see Logan, which was quite busy compared to most films. This was 5 days after release, so I Imagine it may have been problematic on release day. one problem I had with booking seats was, If there are 2 available seats sandwiched between booked seats, you can not pick them. This is a little unfair for anyone visiting solo.

This was our first visit to this cinema, having not heard of it before I was expecting the worst - I'm pleased to say my expectations were dashed as soon as I walked through the doors.

There was a queue but it was cleared very quickly by very friendly helpful staff who were only too pleased to help us - especially as there was 6 of us all paying at different tills - yes I know!!!

Throughout the cinema it was clean and tidy even the toilets.

I liked the announcement just before the film about mobile phones and recording equipment that was made by a member of staff at the front of the auditorium and not the normal loud trailer.

Lovely experience and one we will try again, as cinemas go this one didn't have that commercial feel it was more personal and absolutely spot on for us.

Well done!!!

We love the light cinema and as a family love to go as often as we can this visit was for my daughters 11th birthday we went to watch Sing.
The light is a very convenient cinema with parking right outside.
Theirs a great choice of snacks that are pricey but nothing more than a normal concessionary.
The great thing about light is they have some good deals on the snacks.
The film was great and a good start to my daughters celebration.
The girl on the counter was lovely she made a real fuss of my daughter .

Well worth a visit.
We went to this cinema for the first time as we had heard good things about it,
I pre-booked tickets online for an early evening showing so the place itself wasn't that busy on our arrival.
there is an easy system in place which seems to work ok plus the usual you would expect with refreshments, snacks etc PLUS a bar on the upper level!!!!!! This is the first iv seen within a cinema. Just shows how far things have come forward over the years doesn't it.
We will go again and recommend to a friend for the legroom and comfort if for nothing else.

Came here for the 1st time last weekend. Loved it ! The customer service from the staff was super, like going back to an old cinema. Loved the theatre style seats and the seats were really comfy. Prices cheaper than odeon where I normally go. Loved the whole area with shops, bars and restaurants and will definitely be back.

Last night was my second visit in recent weeks to the Light Cinema.
Totally impressed with the experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful, you can also pre book and select your seat in the cinema via the website, stylish and comfortable seats too,all complete with drinks holder and mini table.Sometimes it's the small things that make a big difference.Theres even a bar here for a tipple before or after the movie.
Will be using here for all my future film nights.Excellent.

We really like The Light Cinema!

It's a great cinema experience, the seats are comfy and the angle of the seating is good for small children (5 and 8 year old) so they can see the screen, no boosters required.

The location is good too with lots of family friendly restaurants nearby for something to eat.

Parking can be a bit difficult when it's busy but I think they are working to extend the car park so that should be better soon.

Hubby and I thought we would pass time by going to the pics and the cinema was right beside our hotel. We booked the tickets early and got to choose our seats. When we arrived at night it was quite busy and we went to get popcorn and juice. The meal deals were quite good. The salty popcorn was very good. The cinema has a nice atmosphere with lots of friendly staff there to help you find your screen and if you want help to find your seat. We got to our seat and found all the seats were large and comfy. Before the film Started a member of staff came in to ask every one to switch off their phones and to relax and enjoy the film. I thought this was a good personal touch. We enjoyed the film and no numb bum as the seats were good. Would come back here again.
