Long overdue review..

Visited this cinema the first day it opened to watch Cloverfield Lane Film and visit at least twice a month when the bf comes to stay at mine. Honestly say this is one one my favourite cinemas... Popcorn actually tastes nice and sweet not like cardboard as it is in others, portions are extremely generous for the price and a free refills makes it even more worth while.
Tickets prices a a lot nicer on the pocket in comparision to others, and even get tickets for 5 quid (only took advantage of this on Sundays, not sure if it applies other days)
Booking is so simple on the website and no booking fee perfect.
Staff are extremely friendly and even when busy always have a smile on there face..
If I could suggest an improvement on booking seats, a symbol to show which chairs have a table in the middle, think I've figured out the system to get one of these but may help other users.
Also please start getting more of this brand about would make me buy the card right now if you open one between Hinckley and Leicester way :)
Can't wait for my next visit.. Ill be sure to check in on facebook as per usual

Visited a couple of times. Buy tickets online if u can as long queues at ticket office. They Accept student discount cards. Also do family/kids deals weekends before 12.
Cinema clean when we visited. Pleasant staff. Comfortable seats. Warmer than the other cinema by boundary mill walsall. We did note there was no interval during films we have watched. Drinks and popcorn pricey as per all cinemas in my view. Happy to visit again. Bonus is that's it's surrounded by restaurants and in the city centre. Pay and display parking. But free on crown wharf after 6pm.

I'm from the Cannock area and this is the cinema I will travel out to. I used to go to Cineworld Wolverhampton, but this place is far better. Clean, comfy seats and nice smart screens. Will take a lot to top this place

This cinema is now our favourite, it is new, clean and convenient, the prices are competitive and the seats have loads of leg room. We are seriously thinking about the unlimited access tickets.

I had wondered why another cinema was needed in Walsall, since the Showcase at Bentley Mill is within striking distance. However, we went to the Light Cinema yesterday evening to see “I, Daniel Blake”, which the Showcase was not screening, and were persuaded that this is a useful addition to entertainment in the town. The cinema was fresh and clean, with more spacious seating than at the Showcase, and a much more intimate atmosphere. Being at the Wharf, it is more convenient for access, although the slight downside is that one has to pay for parking. Apparently it is free across the road after 18:30, but we came to an earlier screening.
We are pleased to see the number of eating places that are part of the complex, including Choquito, which was our favourite restaurant when visiting the Showcase. It has closed at Bentley Mill, but we are glad that it has reopened at the Wharf.
As other reviewers have pointed out, it is easy to book online and choose one’s seats in advance. We’re impressed, and will visit it again in future, possibly in preference to Bentley Mill.

Very nice cinema so clean and new. How long will it last?? Make the most of it whilst it does. Quite a up lift to Walsall town centre.

How refreshing to find a modern, clean and reasonably priced cinema. No long queue to buy tickets, friendly staff and roomy modern seating. Even the bar prices are reasonable.

Been here loads since it opened really impressed, the staff are all friendly and it's clean! No sticky floors I like how easy it is to book online and choose your seats. It has a bar so you can take alcohol into the film if you wanted I was a little sceptical of this at first thinking people would get a little rowdy but so far it's worked well never had any problems. The only down side is the paying to park which you do not have to do at most other cinemas. When they had the £5 tickets it wasn't too bad it still worked out cheaper. However I'd still pay the extra to go here as it's a lot cleaner and the seats are far more spacious and comfy.

Was disappointed when I first went. It had just opened, the car park was full, as you went in there was a mass of people either just coming out or waiting to go in- chaos.
The second time I went, I parked at the Wharf car park, just over the road-free after 6pm & loads of spaces.
Walked over road, easily selected seats and tickets from machine and went through/up to cinema-nice and smooth.
When got into screen seats were spacious and well planned, and the screen was awsome, so much better than the other Walsall Cinema with it's sticky floors and cramped seats etc.

We have all been to watch the bfg this is a great addition to Walsall town centre the place is spotless and theirs plenty of staff on hand to help.
Great afternoon out.
Only negative is the confectionary is expensive but that's expected at cinemas and they do have some good deals and free refills .

Have visited on a few occasions now with both friends and children.
I have to say this is a lovely new cinema!
The prices if you go before 12 are brill, ideal if taking the kids. If you go large with the popcorn/drink combo (only 80p extra) you can have it refilled for free!
Staff are a bit slow in serving both in the bar and at the kiosk.
You have to pay to park if parking neAr the cinema so bear this in mind.
Lots of places to eat before or after close by.
Will definitely be my cinema of choice from now on.

Have to say slightly disappointed that members of staff was told through out the film that, people was getting very noisy and drunk, they was still allowed to continue through the film and upset many people trying to watch it. I give the manager his due, as many of us complained at the end for the way it had been handled, and given vouchers to come back again, i think if your selling alcohol on the premises, security will be needed in the future, such a shame as it spoilt the whole night out.

Have been to the cinema a few times and have. It been disappointed. Only gave 4 stars because hate having to pay to park (although the wharf car park is free after 6pm). Love how easy it is to book online and print tickets when you get there. Although the last time I went the guy scanned the ticket straight from my phone. The cinema screens are always clean and the chairs are very roomy and comfortable.

The cinema has only been open for 6 months, it was my third visit yesterday. Cinema is spotless, seats are comfy, staff are great - a little hidden gem for anyone who hasn't visited yet. Also benefits from bars and places to eat in the nicer part of walsall would highly recommend
