A chance google search for a bakery in Walsall found ‘Masovia Craft Bakery’ which is located on the Arboretum end of Lichfield Street, directly opposite Blades hairdressers.
Upon visiting I was very pleasantly surprised: Walsall now has a first-rate European style bakery the like of which you'd expect to find in a much larger city. The wholemeal bread, cream cakes, and pastries are delicious – but not overly sweet. The selection is large enough, faultlessly presented and the shop is impeccably clean. I’ll definitely try some of their other cakes, pastries and breads on my next visit.
From now on I can thankfully avoid the supermarket bakeries and get my wares from here.

Firstly I was so impressed with how friendly the staff are at Masovia Craft Bakery, happy to help and explain all the different breads and pastries...
Secondly, the food is just outstanding and so fresh. I chose some Artisan Bread 'The Grandma', a chocolate zebra cake and some iced doughnuts - that all tasted amazing.
The doughnuts were particularly popular with my 4 year old and 8 year old boys.

The brown loaf was delicious and completely different to supermarket bread. You can really taste the difference. We'll be getting bread from here from now on.
Praline cake was very good and stays fresh for a long while in the fridge. A very underrated place. Well done guys 👍
