We went as a larger group for afternoon tea (evening time) with exclusive access to the tea room. The whole ambiance of the cafe is amazing, transporting you right back to the 40’s, I was mesmerised by the collections of memorabilia and could have spent hours just wondering around and browsing. The two ladies who were working were lovely went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of but not obtrusive at all. The food was lovely, was even provided with a doggy bag to take the leftovers home. I am already planning my next trip to the pigeon parlour and have not stopped talking about my experience to friends family and colleagues. Would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

This place is amazing. Friendly and accommodating - they really do go all out with customer service. I visited recently with my disabled daughter who is on a blended diet and all liquids via a tube. We had an adapted version of afternoon tea which wasn't on the menu. My daughter had a mashed jacket potato and tuna (in a china bowl natch!) Service was amazing and we were both made to feel really welcome

The effort that is put into making this such an experience is just wonderful. The staff all make you so welcom, it's just like going to visit friends. Food and drink is perfect and they cater of everybody. The Gin collection is out of this world.

Authentic setting, beautifully decorated, cosy atmosphere, very welcoming staff always checking if we are happy with our food, topping us up with pots of tea.
Food is delicious and great variety and fillings; had an afternoon tea and a gentleman’s tea to share with my auntie. This is my 3rd back and they never fail to impress.
Highly recommended to ALL age groups.

This little gem is unique!! Set among ordinary shops (including a tattoo parlour) it is a time warp to the 1940's. You are welcomed immediately by staff who are family members or friends. Your menu is a Ration Book, Food is excellent, Afternoon teas to die for. Always a special "Happy Birthday to you" from all staff on your special day. Doubles as a Gin parlour on Friday nights with entertainment!! All occasions catered for! My Tuesday afternoons would not be the same without my "Pigeon's Parlour. Unmissable!!!
