We had a lovely afternoon tea on Saturday. A 50th present from our beautiful two grandchildren, and mum of course who paid for it.
It made me cry but in a nice way, very nostalgic. Loved it.

We had our first visit to the Pigeons Parlour on Saturday, we had been given a gift voucher by friends to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary.
We had a Wonderful afternoon tea with presecco my husband had the Gentleman's afternoon tea which is a savoury version, all food was an excellent standard very fresh and well presented, with also had a very nice bottle of wine, surprised to find it is a licenced establishment.
The decor is 40s/50s style lots of wonderful photos and vintage memorabilia. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the owner came over and had a chat and told us about the history of the Pigeons Parlour, wonderful will definately be back very soon. May need to book can be very busy.

Went with hubby for my birthday. The afternoon tea was lovely; well filled sandwiches, yummy cakes and freshly brewed tea. The tea rooms are styled in a bygone era with items of interest scattered around the shelves and every table has quaintly crocheted covers. All staff were friendly and welcoming. A first class experience.

Fabulous afternoon tea in this quaint and quirky tea room. A family get together with aunties and cousins. Reminiscing and chatting about the 'good old days'. The staff were marvellous and very attentive. The food was plentiful and the proper leaf tea in china cups went down splendidly. A very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Debbie and the team.

NB You really need to pre book which we did thankfully. Had the full afternoon tea with real tea, plenty to eat all fresh too. Lots to see around you from the 40's 7 50's. Staff excellent Sophie served us well. We will return.

Went with my Mum, it was Mum's second visit and she loved her first visit so much that she booked a table for us both today. An absolute delight, I'm going to have to go back again to try some different things off the menu and look at more of the items on the wall, there is so much to look at without it being overdone. Lovely simple and appealing menu. Lovely staff, lovely welcome. Just can't praise it highly enough. I would highly recommend booking advance.

My Mom and I visited Pigeon’s Parlour on a Saturday afternoon after hearing so much about it through word of mouth. We turned up around 2pm on a Saturday without booking and there were 2 large parties in there along with a few couples on other tables. We asked if there was a table and there was one spare which we gladly took. We ordered a coffee each and a scone with jam and cream. The atmosphere was lovely, nostalgic and cosy. There was so much to look at and talk about. Along with the lovely 40s swing music it was a lovely afternoon and a place we have recommended to our family and friends and plan to come back for our family of girls afternoon tea later on in the year.

If you are looking for ‘an experience’ for afternoon tea you wouldn’t find a better place then this. Warm and cosy with lots of 1940s memrobelia to look at, the friendly waitresses that are dressed in 1940s outfits and the background music enhance the experience. A large selection of fresh sandwiches and scrumptious scones are perfect.

Wasn't sure what to expect from the venue, but was really surprised. People were so welcoming and warm. Yes it's a war time / 50s themed coffee shop but they offer much more. Worth popping in for there home made lemon cake.
Well presented, clean, comfortable and pleasant. Would go again. Thank you Pigeons

We have just visited Pigeons Parlour with our 84 year old Dad for afternoon tea for his birthday. What a fabulous experience. Really lovely homemade food and fabulous service. Very nostalgic, a step back in time to the 40's. Will definitely be going again. Thank you.

What a super place. Wish it wasn't a 21 mile round trip. A really good idea to book, even for a pot of tea (in a tea cosy) and toasted teacake! Staff great and so well turned out. Can't think of anything negative, except the distance. Moves afoot to enlarge.

Family run vintage cafe, fine china tea and toast with an ambience from the forties. You can see why it is a busy as soon as you enter. Pigeons Parlour is a jewell in Great Barrs crown.
