This is a lovely little place for a light lunch, afternoon tea or coffee and cake with a friend.
Not busy on a Thursday afternoon in January, but times are difficult for lots of people, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Beautifully decorated with 40's memorabilia, perfect to take a loved one suffering with dementia, so many bits of old stuff to view and also photos.
Not the cheapest eatery, but fresh, well presented food and friendly owner and staff.
Hope custom increases for you, I meet a friend halfway between our current homes, so travel a distance otherwise I'd visit more often.

My Mum and I visited on a Thursday afternoon. We ordered 2 mini afternoon tea's (which were meant to be pre ordered) but the lovely ladies were able to make these for us. Everything tasted amazing and fresh. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Came here for my friend's birthday on a Friday night, the place is like stepping back in to the 1940s, the menu also reflects this , fantastic selection of gins all at a great price ,
We paid £2 entrance fee as they had a singer for the night all golden oldies but we had such a fantastic night
Evan had a dance , most enjoyable
Thank you for making our night to special 10 out of 10
Will visit again very soon

Great 40s themed tea room. Food was lovely & served on china plates. Tea cups, pot etc are all china and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. Afternoon tea looked nice. Need to order this 24 hours in advance. Well worth a visit if in the area..

Not on the Birmingham tourist trail, but well worth a trip out of the city (the 997 bus runs every 10 minutes during the day). My wife and I took our granddaughter for afternoon tea to celebrate the completion of her primary education. We loved it! The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to make our visit a very pleasant experience.
The 1940's theme is both fascinating and relaxing, with period music enhancing the ambience.
I can highly recommend this fine establishment, but be sure to book first as it's very popular, and for good reason.
