I have enjoyed my driving lessons with my driving instructor, Sarah. I have been taking lessons for nearly a year and every lesson has been instructive and calm.
My driving instructor has been constructive through each lesson and calm giving helpful and necessary feedback through the lesson and helps me to understand and explain fully on any errors that may occur during the lesson.
Sarah has made my driving experience fun, enjoyable and understandable and also helped me become a much more confident driver.

I was always very nervous to start driving, however since joining Rio my instructor Sarah has made me feel much more comfortable; she remains calm during every lesson, and is very friendly and easy to communicate with which is exactly what you need when learning to drive. I now feel much more comfortable driving and look forward to my lesson every week! :-)

It's been over 20 years since I last drove and I was anxious about how much I'd remember. Sarah has been patient with me, even when I've not been patient! I'd recommend her and RIO to anyone learning to drive.

I was a completely inexperienced driver and was so anxious to begin driving however, Sarah and RIO Driving School helped me to overcome this fear. She is supportive, attentive, patient and helped me to build on my confidence massively whilst learning to drive and I would highly recommend RIO driving school to anyone learning to drive.

I'd been with another company for 2.5 years prior to joining the RIO family and I'm absolutely certain I made the right decision to move. Paul and the rest of the team made me feel very welcome and my diary is full all the time! I'd recommend RIO to any PDI/ADI looking for a supportive and welcoming opportunity to grow!

Paul Fisher has organically built a well recognised business and specialised team with a high level of professionalism and expertise. He knows exactly what it takes to make an exceptional instructor! He is not only very knowledgeable and supportive but his friendly approach and calm manner make everything easy to understand. He lets me be my own boss but is always there if help is needed, especially if I am struggling with a certain technique or pupil. He always offers good advice and is continuously up to date with the latest developments in the industry. This has been particularly important with all the recent changes to the driving test, Standards Check and Part 2 & 3 tests.
He has personally helped me understand how to gain a personal connection with my pupils which is why I enjoy each and every lesson I give.

Rio is a fantastic driving school that really makes you feel at ease when your driving. Sarah reassured me every time I’m on my lesson and makes me feel relaxed all the time. We get on really well and I feel that I can talk to her about what I’m struggling with and if I need any extra help we think of ways that can help me learn. I’m not the best confident person as it is and with Sarah my confidence is growing when I’m driving.

I have being having lesson`s with Sarah from Rio , I cant fault my instructor Sarah she is kind and patient with me ,she explains every thing to me step by step and if I am struggling with one way she always finds another way to help me through my lesson I wouldn't want any one else to teach me to drive she is always very understanding and very polite x i would highly recommend Rio driving school to any of family and friends wanting to take lessons

Review received for Rio Driving School from Katherine B :- "I am so glad I went with GoRio when learning to drive, I had previously been with another driving school with an intructor who had no idea how to handle someone as nervous as myself. With my instructor Paul I have accomplished the huge achievement of passing my test first time. Paul has been incredibly supportive during all my lessons, building up my confidence immensely. I think one of the best things about his teaching methods was to explain maneuverers and tasks with diagrams and verbal instructions at the start of the lesson which allowed me to take my time and ask any questions. With being so nervous I would find I would ask a lot of questions and felt Paul would always answer them no matter if i felt they were silly ones! i really liked that with Paul at the start of each lesson he'd ask me what I wanted to work on which I think was very helpful as it also gave me time to review previous lessons together and also my feelings towards it. During my period of learning I was also dealing with health issues which Paul kindly took into account when teaching me which I greatly appreciated too. Any new learner makes mistakes but even when I did Paul would keep calm and point out how I made the mistake and i defiantly learned much quicker, and even was able to laugh at a few. As I progressed and gained that all important confidence, Paul often let me get on with things commenting rarely when needed which really helped me to feel independently safe in driving but also confident able to plan ahead. Paul was excellent in building my confidence up particularly with the commentary driving technique (which I still use when I drive alone) and it really helps you to plan and stay calm and most importantly feel in control. I would without question recommend him, or any Go Rio instructor, when it comes to learning especially if you are of a nervous disposition because if they can turn me into a competent driver they can do the same for anyone!"

Paul is a brilliant instructor. When I had him for my first lesson, I had little to no confidence in myself at all, but he managed to build my confidence back up. He is a great instructor, and is also very patient, and is also easy to talk to. I would recommend Rio driving school to anybody! Thank you Paul!

I would like to thank Rio driving school and most of all my driving instructor Paul for the immense time and patience that he has continually been shown to me whilst undertaking my driving lessons.
