As a formal pupil of Rio driving school. I have to say I have never had so much knowledge pumped into my head in such a short period of time. If your a nervous new driver, there is nothing to fear as the instructors are friendly and have lots of techniques to help you become a fabulous driver. Or if your an experienced driver who was just afraid of the test itself. I don't think me or my partner would be driving now if it wasn't for Rio.

Rio has been a brilliant company to work with. My Rio Driving instructor has been flexible and supportive the whole time, allowing me to have choice in my lessons and progress at a rate I feel happy with. He will go out of his way to make sure you have as much time as possible in each lesson. Also, he is very patient and makes sure I fully understand each stage before we move onto something new. My nerves are immense both before and during my lessons, but as soon as I sit down for each lesson, I am immediately put at ease and feel happy and ready. He understands and reassures me whenever I need it, and without this, I definitely wouldn't be doing what I can do now. I would definitely recommend Rio to any new drivers

Overall I would say Paul Fisher is a fantastic driving instructor, I feel with his lessons I am certainly well on my way to being both a safe and confident driver. compared to a previous instructor from another company, Paul's Go Rio service is infinitely better. He has excellent organisation and punctuality so you get the full 1 hour of lesson time, also his use of using visual aids when teaching a manoeuvre is very helpful. In addition, Paul explains things in a clear and concise manner as well as detailed and carefully explained feedback about driving situations. Furthermore, there are plenty of opportunities me to think and make decisions for myself and ask any questions I may have about any aspect of driving. I would certainly recommend him to any friends and family who are looking for an driving instructor.

Paul was friendly and supportive from the offset, I was very nervous to start lessons but he taught me to stay calm.
He has never shouted, even when I have made a major mistake.

I started having lessons with rio after 2 failed tests I first started with Chris Douglas and he was really helpful and patient and friendly and after he helped me as he could he referred me to Paul Fisher and he also was really helpful and patient and friendly Paul got me up to test standard and I passed with only 5 minors I could not have done it without the help and support of rio I would recommend rio to anybody wanting to take driving lessons

I passed my driving test first time with one minor, driving with Chris from Rio, my experience was very professional and pleasant. I enjoyed every moment of my learning with Chris and with being a nervous person he managed to calm my nerves and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. I would highly recommend Rio driving school and Chris individually, as the services Rio provide are to an extremely high standard and Chris as an instructor also performs to a high standard but at the same time is lovely, genuine and a pleasure to learn with, I will always remember my experience with Rio driving school and most importantly Chris, thank you for your help.

Having lessons with Chris (Rio Driving School) has been a great experience, it's a shame it had to end so soon. As an instructor Chris is the most dedicated person, who will continually ask you to do a maneuver or something else until you get it right.
Not only for new drivers just getting behind the wheel for the 1st time, but also for experienced drivers who have just been a little scared or have bad habits. Just like me!!

Being a nervous driver, with lots of lessons under my belt, Chris had the exact type of temperament from an instructor to get me through my test and more importantly be a safe driver.the latter being very important to me.
Chris's attention to detail approach suited me down to a tee, and I would recommend him to anyone as an excellent choice of driving instructor.

Want to say a big thanks for all the support you provided me during my learner driving experience. You know i was a reluctant anxious learner and your reassurance and encouragement helped me through the process, i would never have been able to get where i am without the support. What you taught me has set me up for a life time of driving rather than just getting me though the test. The fact that i passed first time is a reflection on how good you are as an instructor.
