My experience learning to drive with Rio driving school was excellent. My instructor Chris was incredibly patient throughout all of my lessons and helped me pass my driving test first time round! I would highly recommend Rio to anyone who is about to start driving lessons.

To begin with, my experience with driving was just awful as I had done a previous lesson with another driving school and hadn't had a confident start with things. I had many upsets from the previous company and was let down on numerous occasions, to put it into perspective I had only completed 1 hour of driving with the instructor of 'the other company'.
Then I started driving with Rio and things were completely different. I was so impressed with the service they gave as it is professional yet informal and the instructor 'Chris' made me feel at ease and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my driving test. I spent at least one day a week and he always had a time slot with me per week and he was very organised.
I passed first time which I have infinite gratitude towards my instructor as he was always freely available and boosted my confidence a lot more than your average driving instructor.

I have enjoyed every single moment learning to drive; I believe this is because I had a fantastic instructor. Even though at times driving has seemed to be impossible Chris has stuck at it with me and created me into a competent driver, passing with only 3 minors. Rio Driving School doesn't just teach you to drive they help you to become a safe and confident driver, and give you a skill for life. I am a very nervous person and Chris helped me deal with these nerves and stayed calm and friendly throughout. What I most enjoyed about driving with Chris is that he gave me a lot of choice, he planned lessons but he would always ask what I wanted to do because it was my lesson, this made me improve a lot as I got to choose what I wasn't so confident/good at and then we would work on that. I cannot thank Chris enough for how comfortable and confident he has made me when driving!

I would definitely recommend Rio to any other potential learner drivers because they are incredible and easy to get along with and you learn so much in a short amount, plus you can specify which areas you want to work on each week.

Brilliant driving instructor. I was / am to feel very comfortable and confident. The structure of my lessons are well organised and time is used well. The whole experience throughout my learning was absolutely great! My instructor Paul Fisher was brilliant! He’s friendly, calming, helpful and so easy to get on with. Paul will make you feel comfortable and at ease, he made learning to drive fun and stress free!
