Haven't visited Ivy House for many years but thought would give it a try.
Restaurant was lovely but staff definitely let it down, from saying no beer! to saying I'll give you 5 minutes to choose food! Didn't know pie of the day! And just being rudely inpolite as if it was too much trouble for them! May come back for a drink but not food...

Hadn't booked a table but demi,did everything she could to fit us in. The service was great and food was delish. All the waiting staff were really lovely and demi was especially nice. Welcoming,friendly and personable. Will definitely be back

Came with my friend for a meal in August. Table given was the one requested. Servers were all polite and helpful. I had Rogan Gosht with plain rice and a Nan, my friend had Peri Peri chicken from the extensive menus; both were very nice, but the Rogan Gosht was over-salted. Gents toilet needs some plasterwork doing, and the walls repainting (not a huge job).The lock on the cubicle doesn’t lock the door as there is nothing for the bolt to go into! One point lost for the over-salting and toilet, other than that, a very nice evening. Drinks were later taken out in the lovely garden. Will return.

Visited for the first time in a while for the wife's birthday. Would definitely return again! Friendly staff, excellent choice of food and well priced. The food was obviously cooked to order and neither of us had any complaints. Would like to try the punjabi menu next time which looked good.

Fantastic little hideaway, great staff and owner. Entertainment is absolutely great, a must on a Friday if you are looking for somewhere to head out to have a decent night.

Great local pub serving both English and Indian food which I can say is fantastic. Mixed grill is spot on and enough for two. Great outside seating and reasonable drinks with double it up specials.

PLUS - Very nicely set out, good pub grub. NEGATIVE - Some of the younger staff are underwhelming and need to brush up on their customer interaction skills. Generally a nice experience.
