Food excellent , the chips are home made and so nice. I would however say that the communication between the staff a little off putting. The younger members were good but didn’t like how some of the older staff spoke to them.

The chips were soggy and oily my wife could not say her portion I did say mine. The mushrooms and my rib eye steak (cooked medium rare) were excellent as were all of the staff especially the young ones they have been well traineded. The gammon however was very very salty. The meal was slightly over priced. I tried to book a table on line 33 hours before our required time, I waited 2 hours for confirmation but had to phone them they said they had not received the booking request. If you want people to book on line make sure the system works. We will not be returning.

Visited yesterday with family of 7 very friendly bar staff food good as always all came out together as all enjoyed our meals. Thanks Robyn for looking after us.

Saturday afternoon meal, relaxed atmosphere, food menu great choice, food arrived and good portions really tasty you did not want to leave it, so this is the first time since we have been here since it reopened and will be back so no negative feed back here.

Can definitely recommend this place for evening meals we went with relatives who had been told it's a good place to eat & they wasn't wrong I decided to try the curry menu and wasn't disappointed I had the Aloo Tikka Chana Chaat for starter very nice then I had the Ghustabba again a great choice of main course my wife & relatives had a choice of evening meals from the main menu & even though my relatives are vegetarian they said the food was well worth the money & would like to go again

Myself and my fiance have been here a lot now. It is a lovely place with polite friendly staff. I recommend the Ivy House!
Other halfs steak came raw but they corrected this and he enjoyed it.
The veggie curry was ok, the cheesecake was lovely but the caramel one was not nice!

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Ivy House today. I would recommend the Lunchtime Menu.. it was great value for money. I had Pate to start with, followed by fish & chips. The chips were absolutely beautiful!!! Finally I had a brownie with icecream which was super scrummy. Portions were generous and I believe if you were to visit the Ivy House, you would not be disappointed!!!

Food and service are excellent!! Served by a lovely lady called Pearl where nothing was too much trouble for her. She waited on us hand a foot! We were in a bit of a rush and worried we might be there for ages but the food was brought out within 15 minutes. I had the vegetable pizza and it was the freshest and tastiest pizza I've ever had, clearly home made, toppings galore!!. Sister had the lasagne which was also beautiful and the home made chips are to die for. Very reasonably priced too for the quality of the food!. Defo going back!!

Had a lovely Christmas meal here, food was nice and tasty, they didn't skimp either, staff very efficient and happy, ok maybe good have been better seated rather than by the door, but hey considering everything else was superb that is trivial
