Omg, the food was awesome. A bit noisy when we were there as we sat next to a party of about 8 and the dining area is very small,apart from that the food was lovely real home made food.

Traditional pub, with excellent beer. Clean and tidy. Haven't visited for a while and looks like they have new, staff completely changed. They were polite, but lacked atmosphere. Not very busy either for a Saturday night, such a shame. Will return, good to have a local you can walk too.

Booked a Saturday night table at short notice and headed in for dinner,a huge gin range for herself and excellent ale on hand pull kept me happy. We went with the Indian menu and it was great, starters and mains
came quickly , piping hot and very good. Staff were really on
point for drinks etc despite being quite busy. Special shout out to our Server India who looked after us.

We recently booked our late Fathers funeral wake here. The room was lovely and private. Booking was easy, food was lovely and all the staff were very friendly. What more could you ask for. I would High recommend the New Ivy House .

The Ivy House had a difficult period a couple of years ago with a few owners. This period is over. The pub is settled and reliable. Both the Indian and English menus are superb as is the food and the service and the beer. Try it. Highly recommended.

Great oldblack country pub . Usually a good selection of beers and they are also an Indian restaurant. I've not tried the food but they are always busy and it's a good atmosphere

Nice friendly pub. Meals are decent price and the serving staff seemed keen to help and make sure you was fully catered for .. steak was nice .. and our party of 4 all had nice meals. Just felt the plate maybe could have had a little more chips on it. . But all good besides..

This was my third visit to the Ivy House this evening. Previous visits have been very nice.
I ordered the New Jersey chicken which I’ve had before.Unfortunately the chips didn’t appear freshly cooked and I could taste the oil on them which tasted like the oil needed changing in the frier!
The coleslaw was just mush.When the very young waitress asked me if I enjoyed my meal I explained how I was disappointed with the chips and my reasons, she just smiled and said “oh” 🤷🏻♀️
Obviously she didn’t inform the manager as no staff member approached us.We paid the bill and left but I won’t be in a rush to return

Went fir a friend's birthday. Lovely little pub. Good parking. Didn't eat from the menu, buffet was provided andthat was excellent, drinks - good choice. Guiness was good all the men was drinking it..
